This pilot site is situated at the outskirts of London.
The area once flooded on a regular basis from the sea, but now is largely protected. It is rich in wildlife. This pilot tests the hypothesis that landscape-led approach can help to address the issues of climate change and heavy rainfall, instead of the traditional hard engineering response.
